The Jesse Hunt House was originally a river-front hotel built in downtown Lawrenceburg, Indiana circa 1820. It is believed to be the state's first three-story brick building. Having survived both prosperous and lean years, it was threatened with demolition in 1998. The dilapidated building was rescued by the city and then purchased by the Historic Landmarks Foundation of Indiana (HLFI), who restored the exterior and sold the property to its new owner, who completed the restoration.
